Comparison of engineered and evolved networks

Description:

This research project wants to explore the differences in the topology and dynamism of evolved and engineered networks in a systematic way. The expected results will help the more rational design of complicated engineered objects such as various communication networks, microchips, as well as aid the development of a better structure of computer programs. The project may also help our understanding of complexity, a perplexing issue of modern physics and other related fields.
